New Body, New Soul

Mankind To Be Like Christ

gp531 "Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His [Christ's] glorious body, according to the working by which He [Christ] is able even to subdue ALL things to Himself" (Phil 3:21, NKJV -- emphasis added). We have just explained to you Christ's body of glory or New Soul. His glorious body is his resurrected body that was joined to the angel of the BeComingOne (yhwh). Thus his body of glory is the new creation: two (the physical and spiritual) are one. But notice carefully that through the power given to Christ, Christians' ("our" -- Phil 3:21) bodies will be created like Christ's AND with this same power all will be subdued to Christ. We need to know what it means "to subdue all things to" Christ.

Christ Now Has All The Power

gp532 Jesus Christ was given ALL the power of his Father (John 3:35). All are subjected to Christ (Matt 28:18; 1 Pet 3:22) because God gave His Name and power to Christ (Phil 2:9-11) by infusing Jesus the man into the God through the Spirit of the God (GP 5). But all are not yet under Christ (Heb 2:8). Yet as we see from Phil 3:21, Christ does have the power to subdue all to himself. And as Romans 8:32 indicates, God with Christ gave us, meaning Real Christians, all things (note also 1Cor 3:21). Furthermore, not only will Christians receive all things with Christ, but all people ever born will receive all things with Christ. Let's look at the Biblical evidence.

All Saved

gp533 "And the angel said to them, Do not fear. Lo, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be to all people ... and all flesh shall see the salvation of God" (Luke 2:10; 3:6; see "All Saved," and "Does All Mean All" papers). Somehow most have overlooked scriptures concerning all of mankind inheriting peace and immortal life like Jesus Christ. Somehow mankind has felt a need to damn others. But while damning others, they project themselves as being superior to the ones they damned.

Jesus Christ's Commission to Save

gp534 Jesus Christ was given a commission to be Savior of the whole world, not just some elect group. Let's see where the Bible says through Jesus Christ that all will be saved and go into the God. Jesus Christ the BeComingOne is Savior of the world; he has come to free the world from its madness (1John 4:14; Luke 9:56). God will come to save the world from destroying itself at His physical return to earth (Matt 24:22). Thus, at that time He will have saved the world from destroying itself; and from that point on will begin to set the ground to save the world Spiritually as other scriptures indicate.

Great Mystery - Christ Fulfills All

gp535 In the Book of Ephesians we see that God had revealed to Paul a great mystery,

  • "how that by revelation he [God] made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in a few words, Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)" (Eph 3:3-4).
All in Heaven and Earth

gp536 What did Paul write about before in a few words that he calls the mystery of Christ? We merely look back from chapter 3 to chapter 1 to see the answer:

  • "Wherein he [God] has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known us the MYSTERY OF HIS WILL, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one ALL THINGS in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth in him" (Eph 1:8-10).

["Heaven" represents the Spiritual reality as the "earth" represents the physical reality (cf "heaven" and "earth" in Isa 55:8-9; 1Cor 15:44-49; Phil 3:18-19; Col 3:1-2).]

gp537 Thus the answer to the great mystery is that all things will be gathered into Jesus Christ by the "fullness of the times." Paul reiterates this in Colossians:

  • "and having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile ALL THINGS unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in the earth [physical], or things in heaven [spiritual]" (Col 1:20).

gp538 And again in another book, Philippians, Paul states the answer to the mystery:

  • "according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself" (Phil 3:21).

All into the Church

gp539 But what does it mean to reconcile all to himself -- to Christ the BeComingOne?:

  • "This is a great mystery: but I speak into Christ and into the Church" (Eph 5:32).

gp540 This mystery has something to do with reconciling all to Christ the BeComingOne. Now Paul says that this "great mystery" is something about "into Christ and into the Church." Reconciling all into Christ, into the Church, what does that mean? Will all be reconciled to Christ the BeComingOne through the medium of the Church?

Christ's Spiritual "Wife" - the Church

gp541 Notice in Ephesians 5:32 Paul said, "this is a great mystery." He had just finished writing about a subject, and concerning that subject he said: "this is a great mystery." What was he writing about before he made that statement? Read Ephesians 5:22-31 and you will see what he was writing about. He was comparing Christ as the head of the Church with man as the head of his wife. He was comparing and equating in a symbolic way the Church as a wife and Christ as the husband. Thus, in a sense women are symbolic of a church. Hence, in Ephesians 5:22-33 we can transpose Church for wife and Christ for husband and we will get the antitypical or higher meaning for these verses. Let's do that:

  • "So ought men [Christ] to love his wife [Church] as his own body. He [Christ] that loves his wife [Church] loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the Church: For we are members of his body [Christ's Church], of his flesh, and his bones. For this cause shall a man [Christ] leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife [Church], and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak into Christ and into the Church" (Eph 5:28-32; see 1Cor 12:12 and Eph 1:22-23; Col 1:18; 2:19; Eph 4:15).

Great Mystery is Going into Christ

gp542 The word Paul used that was translated into "mystery" is a word that actually means revealed mystery.

03521 musth, rion( ou( to, mystery, secret; (1) as a relig. t.t. in the cults of the Graeco-Roman world, a relig. secret confided only to the initiated, secret rite, not used in the NT; (2) in the NT; (a) as what can be known only through revelation mediated fr. God what was not known before (MT 13.11); (b) as a supreme redemptive revelation of God through the Gospel of Christ mystery (RO 16.25; EP 3.9); (c) as the hidden mng. of a symbol w. metaph. significance mystery (EP 5.32).

It is going into Christ, his body, which is the Church. Going into Christ is like going into the Church. Thus, when Paul speaks about the mystery that was revealed to him (Eph 3:3-4; 1:9) and says it is gathering "together in one all things in Christ [his body], both which are in heaven [the spiritual] and which are on earth [the physical] in him," we know when Paul says this, he is saying all will come into Christ's Spiritual Body, which is the Church.

All Back Into God through Jesus

gp543 All will be gathered into Christ, his body, his Church:

  • "therefore any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are out of the God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we ask you in Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He [God] has made him [Christ] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2Cor 5:17-21, see Greek text).

God is reconciling the world back to Himself through Christ. The Church is supposed to be teaching the world this. When one is reconciliated to Christ he becomes a new creation.

gp544 What does it mean reconciling the world back to God: "behold, the man is become as one out of us" (Gen 3:22). This is a correct translation from the Hebrew. Man after breaking God's law went out of the way of God. Today, through Christ the BeComingOne, the process of reconciliation is bringing the whole world back to God. How is this being done?

gp545 Notice that Christ was made sin for us so that Christ could make us the righteousness of God by us coming to God through him (2Cor 5:21). Read Isaiah 53:10-12 which shows that God allowed Christ the man to be killed for our transgressions, and that Christ the man "made intercession for the transgressors" (Isa 53:12). Compare Isaiah 53:1-12 with 2 Corinthians 5:19-21. To be an intercessor for something is to go between something -- it is to be a mediator. Christ the man was a mediator!

  • "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself [his life] a ransom for all to be testified in due time." [l Tim 2:5-6].

gp546 How is God reconciling or harmonizing the world through Christ? God is reconciling the world through Christ by having Christ the man die for our sin as a ransom for ALL. Then Christ the man was reconciliated to God; he actually became God as we have shown previously in the God Papers. He went into the Name. Christ the man went between man and God, so as to bring God and man back together through Christ's death, a death he did not deserve, for he was blameless.

gp547 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die" (John 12:32-33). In Christ's own words he said if he was lifted up, he would draw all to himself, he would reconciliate all to God as we've shown you. "For out of him, and through him, and into him, all things" (see Greek text, Rom 11:36). All of us came out of God, all because of the mediator, Christ the man, will return to God. At the fullness of the time all will be in Christ (Eph 1:10). It is the fullness of Jesus Christ that fills all in all:

  • And He [God] put all under his feet, and gave him [Jesus] to be head over all to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all (Eph 1:22-23).

All things will be put back under the power of God and his system of love so "that may be the God, all things in all" (l Cor 15:28). When all is the God (yhwh) then comes true the word: "I am the BeComingOne [yhwh], and there is none else" (Isa 45:5, 6, 21, 22).

NAME and the All

gp548 All Power. The true God gave all (including all power) to the Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:35; Luke 10:22; Matt 28:18; John 17:2). Since everything belongs to the true God (Deut 10:14), then He can, in some way, give ALL to Jesus Christ after He sets him at His right side of power (Psa 110:1). All will be subjected to Jesus Christ (Heb 2:8; 1 Pet 3:22; Phil 2:9-11), because Christ was given all the power (Matt 28:18) by being set at God's right hand. That is why Christ is now called the Almighty (Rev 1:8 with 1:17-18).

gp549 All Spirit. When Christians are in Christ, they are one with Him, they are one with His Body, they are one with His Church, and they are one with His Spirit (1Cor 8:6; 1Cor 12:4, 11-13). Real Christians are in Christ as Christ is in the true God and as God is in Christ (John 17:22; see 1Cor 12). Thus, as Christ was given ALL, so too are Christians given ALL (Rom 8:32; 1Cor 3:21).

gp550 All Glory. The God does not give His glory to others (Isa 42:8; 48:11) because first He brings the others back into Himself, and by so doing gives them some share in His glory. Thus when all are back in God, or are in His Name, then comes true the saying, "I am the BeComingOne [yhwh], and there is none else" (Isa 45:5, 6, 21, 22). As the God gave His glory to Christ (by bringing Christ into His glory), so Christ gives the glory to Christians (John 17:22) by bringing them into his glory.

gp551 All Name = All BeComingOne. God's Name was in the angel who was made one with Christ the man. Thus, Christ the man was given God's Name through the angel. When Christians are baptized into the Name of God, they are given the Name of God (Matt 28:19; Acts 8:16). But ALL will go into the Name (Jer 3:17; 4:2). All people will be called by God's Name (Zeph 3:9, see Hebrew text; Eph 3:15). All will be in the Name, for all will be the BeComingOne. All will be that great Power. There will be nothing but the BeComingOne (Isa 45:5, 6, 21, 22), God, all in all (1Cor 15:28). The Name of God is for the new age -- the time of olam (Psa 135:13; 102:12; see "Age Paper" [NM 7]).

gp552 When All. Jesus Christ will fulfill all things (Eph 4:10; 1:22-23). When Jesus Christ fulfills all things is when God will be all in all (1Cor 15:28). This will be when all will be the BeComingOne, or when God's Spirit will fill all (Psa 139:7-8; 1Kings 8:27; Jer 23:24; Job 34:14-15; Acts 17:28; etc.). This is when the BeComingOne, will be. This gift of the true God (yhwh) to ALL, is given when all receive God's Name. Everyone will be born of God by the true end of creation, at the creation of the new heaven and earth. See the "Thousand Years and Beyond" paper [NM 15] and other papers on the end of creation.

Angels and Spirits

gp553 Let's go into the details about "our body" being made like unto Christ the BeComingOne's (note Phil 3:21). As Jesus has his angel, so does each of us have our angel. As Jesus Christ the man was infused with his angel after his resurrection, so too will each of us be infused with our own angel after our resurrection from the dead to the real life. Before we can go into this subject we must remember that the Bible is dual as the creation is dual. There is a type for the antitype, or the shadow for the real. As Romans 1:19-20 indicates, the physical first creation by God is representative and has meaning in the spiritual or invisible dimension. The Bible is one part of that creation, as is marriage, as is sex difference, as is ....

gp554 As we've shown you in GP 5, male and female, and even marriage are representative of Spiritual truth. Even the sun and moon have a meaning in God's plan. The moon represents Christ the man. The light of the sun represents the truth of God as represented by the angel of God or now by the resurrected Christ, who carries the Truth or Light of God (see notes for GP 5).

Stars and Angels

gp555 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years" (Gen 1:14). The stars are for signs. What kind of sign?

gp556 What does the word translated "sign" mean. Both in the Hebrew and the Greek, it means -- sign. We can look to our dictionary. A good dictionary tells us basically a "sign" represents something else. As a word is a sign of a meaning or a sign for a thing, so too are stars: they are a sign or symbol for something else. The Bible defines its signs or symbols. And in Revelation 1:20 it defines stars as being symbolic of angels. And from other scriptures we know that angels are spiritual beings (Heb 1:7). Angels are classified into two groups, God's and Satan's. As the Bible shows, at the end of the age of Satan, one-third of the angels (stars) will have gone over to Satan's side, thus two-thirds of the created angels are God's angels or God's Spirits since angels are Spirits (Rev 12:4, 7-9). Jesus told us in Luke 24:39 that spirits do not have bodies of flesh and blood, so angels don't have physical bodies.

gp557 God is the Father of spirits (Heb 12:9), or Father of the angels, for angels are spirits. God created these Spirits, therefore he is their "father." The angel of the BeComingOne's father was God the Father -- the BeComingOne (yhwh). The BeComingOne is the Father through His power of predestination. One-third of these angels or spirits will have been under Satan, after God "allowed" them to separate themselves from his Spirit for a higher purpose. Two-thirds of the rest of the Spirits are God's, for they follow in the true God's way.

Our Own Angel

gp558 Everyone that becomes a "son of God" must be begotten of the Spirit (Rom 8:9-10, 16). What is this Spirit? What does it mean to be begotten of God's Spirit? Notice that those begotten of the Spirit are led by it (Rom 8:14). The Spirit in them, leads them.

gp559 Notice that "these little ones" have in heaven "their angels" (Matt 18:10). The Greek word translated "their" means "of one's self." These "little ones" are Spiritual children of God (l John 2:12-13). And these little ones have angels of their own self. Or, thus, since angels are spirits (Heb 1:7), Christians have their own angels or Spirits.

gp560 What do these angels or Spirits do? "For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways" (Psa 91:11). In other words, angels lead them, as the Spirit leads the little ones or sons of God (Rom 8:14). Psalms 91:11 was used in a physical sense concerning Christ (Matt 4:6). But the Bible is dual and speaks in a dual sense, the physical sense and the Spiritual sense. We are to look to the higher sense -- the Spiritual (Col 3:l-2). Not only do angels help out physically, but they help out Spiritually. And since Christ is our example, and the forerunner, then what applies to him applies to all others (cf Col 1:18; Rom 8:17; John 14:6).

gp561 Each son of God has his own angel (Matt 18:10). And these angels lead them in the way (Psa 91:11), as the angel of the BeComingOne led Christ (John 14:10, GP 3 & 4), who is our example. Thus, the Spirit of God that leads Christians (Rom 8:14) is an angel of God that is in them. One of God's own Spirits leads each one of them. These Spirits or angels are for the elect humans who are the sons of God (1 Pet 1:1-2). These angels or Spirits serve the elect, they are ministers or servants "for them who shall be heirs of salvation" (Heb 1:14). These angels are the "elect angels" (1Tim 5:21).

Two into One

gp562 Christians at their resurrection, like Christ the man, will be Spiritually married to their own Spirit or angel: "to the general assembly and church of the first-born, which are written in heaven [in the Book of Life], and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits [angels] of just men made complete" (Heb 12:23). The Christians are complete when they are infused with their Spirit.

gp563 Notice what the Bible calls Christ's "completion" with his Spirit: "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things he suffered; and being made complete, he became the author of aeonian salvation unto all them that obey him" (Heb 5:8-9). And, "that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and you in me, that they may be complete in one" (John 17:22-23). Jesus Christ is asking in prayer that others ("they") be made complete like he and his Father.

Engaged - Married Metaphor

gp564 The Church is the wife of Christ (Rev 19:7; 21:2,9-10; Eph 5:22-32). But the Church is to be presented to Christ as a chaste virgin (2Cor 11:2). The Church is the five virgins with oil and the bridegroom is Christ (Mat 25:1-13). According to this Spiritual metaphor, before the marriage at Christ's coming, the Church, the betrothed wife of Christ, has not been made one with her future husband, for she is a Spiritual virgin. She enjoys Spiritual interaction (social intercourse) with her future husband, but not Spiritual intercourse (sexual intercourse) with her husband: she is not one with her future husband in the sense that married couples are one.

Begotten - Born Metaphor

gp565 There is a dual meaning here. A Spiritual begotten Christian is a typical completed person, but a resurrected Christian (born of God) is an antitypical completed person. Those born of God are made complete with their angel or Spirit (see "Begotten, Born Paper" [NM 5] to understand being begotten or born of God; see the "Duality Paper" [BP 4] to understand our use of "typical" and "antitypical").

An Angel for Everyone

Stars and Angels

gp566 Not only do the elect have angels but all human beings ever conceived have angels, for all will be born of God eventually by the end of God's Spiritual creation (see "All Saved Paper" [NM 13]). Therefore each person has an angel. This may be how some get their theory that each man born has his own star. We'll now show you where they got this belief. Believe it or not they are right, each has his own star. But stars are merely symbolic of angels. Each has his own angel that each will be Spiritually married to. The angels are antitypical males as was the angel of the BeComingOne; mankind are antitypical females. Both the angels and mankind will be spiritually married. Those who think only of the physical while ignoring the spiritual reality are wrong, for they look to the typical creation (stars) instead of to the antitypical meaning (angels). But we are to look to the higher meaning, the antitype.

gp567 From the very beginning God has been saying what we have put forth herein. Notice one of the first promises to Abraham: "And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and count the stars, if you be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall your seed be" (Gen 15:5). Abraham's seed will be numbered as much as the number of stars (Gen 22:17). Further, "and lest you lift up your eyes unto heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the hosts of heaven, and should be driven to worship them, and serve them, Which the BeComingOne your God has divided unto all nations under the whole heaven" (Deut 4:19). Moses is shown in the Bible reminding God of this promise (Ex 32:13). Now remember stars are symbolic of angels. God in the Spiritual meaning of these verses was saying all people were appointed or given a Spirit or angel.

gp568 God said if they could number the stars, then that number would be how many of Abraham's seed who would be born. In the higher or antitypical meaning of this scripture, an equal number of persons will be born as there are angels (stars). But we know that all who go into Christ, or thus are begotten of the Spirit, do become heirs to the promises given to Abraham (Gal 3:16,29). Since it can be proven that all will go into Christ eventually, then all ever conceived will be made complete with their own angel or Spirit and they will become like Christ.

gp569 Now God says he has numbered the stars, and further, has given them names (Psa 147:4). Thus, even though we can't count the stars, they are countable. And as many as there are stars, so too, will they receive the promises of Abraham. But the higher meaning of stars is angels. And we are to look to the higher meaning (Col 3:l-2).

gp570 Hence, throughout all the creation, there will be born as many human beings as there are angels (stars). And the higher meaning of Psalms 147:4 is that God has numbered the angels, and named them. God has created stars to represent angels. Furthermore, he knew from the beginning that there would be conceived one man per angel (star). God is in FULL control of the creation.

gp571 Notice in Daniel 12:3, "and they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars to the age and onward."

gp572 And in Revelation 21:17, "and he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of man, that is, angel." The measure of man, or the number of man is equal to the angels.
